ANIMATOR and ILLUSTRATOR

This animation is an exercise from traditional animator Howard Wimshurst's course, Mastering Motion. The goal of the exercise was to use a video as reference to create the animation, while changing characteristics such as timing, camera angle, and character design. For this animation, I referenced an acrobatic dancer and changed the movement to look more quick and aggressive, while still graceful, to show the personality of a skilled female ninja. I referenced images of ninjas for the character design, keeping the design engaging and recognizable but simple enough to show clean movement in the animation.
