ANIMATOR and ILLUSTRATOR

This is a zoetrope I created for my Sculpture II class. I wanted to express the idea of water providing energy for all life on earth by representing plants rising out of the water while fish jump out of the water and people run holding water bottles. The animation of the fish is on the top layer, and the animation of a person running is on the bottom. The spinning motion is powered by a small DC motor with a knob that allows the speed to be controlled. It also has a switch that allows it to spin forwards and backwards.
