CONCEPTS

These sketches were made to figure out how to convey the idea of drone mapping in a straighforward, recognizable logo. The sketches involved experimenting with a silhouette of a drone, a lighter area being mapped by the drone, and the tower symbols found on aeronautical charts.​

COLOR PALETTES

These were some potential color palettes for the logo. The goal was to find a color palette that communicated the idea of a drone flying and mapping out land. These color palettes were inspired by different images of landscapes. Ultimately, a monochrome blue color palette was chosen to give the idea of the sky while keeping the logo simple and readable.
